Counter-cultural

How might we humbly go about proclaiming the kingdom about which Jesus spoke?

Read John 15:26-27; 16:4b-15.

Jesus refers to “the world” as a force opposed to him – a force that hates him and will hate his followers by association. Jesus and his followers are in many ways “countercultural”. In what ways are you different from “the world”? In this age of “might makes right” and “the loudest voice wins”, how might we humbly go about proclaiming the kingdom about which Jesus spoke?

In prayer, ask the Spirit to inspire your thoughts, words, and deeds, as you go through the day.
